In Memory

Joceyln Schwartz

Lovingly provided by Diane Luszyczynski Pawlica:

Jocelyn’s light burned out way to soon, in September 1980.  At the time, she was enrolled in college pursuing her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.  She was anxiously awaiting her graduation, which sadly she would never atttend.
She was an awesome person who had a deep love for family and friends. We shared many times together filled with laughter and adventure.  A memorable trip was a week we spent camping in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania, with my cousin Sharon (Rosary class of 1974). As novice campers we were not prepared for the elements. We were very lucky to survive a storm while canoeing, only to find all of our loose belongings hanging in the trees when we returned to our campsite.  Than one night we left food out on our picnic table which attracted wildlife. The shadow, from inside our tent, appeared to be the size of a bear. Jocelyn was the brave soul who volunteered to poke her head out of the tent, only to discover it was only a raccoon.

Jocelyn also enjoyed attending concerts. She loved singing, dancing to the music and party she did! Knowing Jocelyn, I believe she will be dancing in heaven for our 50th reunion.

Jocelyn,

Miss you so much!  We had so much fun at school together and after.  You will never be forgotten!

Love you!
